New Year’s in the “Big Apple”

I’ve been in Vancouver for a couple days now, but here’s a snapshot of the final stop on our five week trip of east coast Canada/USA in New York City. This has been a dream of mine for a while to spend New Year’s Eve in “the city that never sleeps” and boy was it fun. Safe to say I’m resting now…

Our Airbnb was in the Greenpoint/Williamsburg area. Lots of cafes, bars and hipster stores – I loved it!

This roof top bar is called Westlight. This was for sure a highlight and possibly the best view of Manhattan I’ve experienced. Photos don’t do it justice, if you’re in NYC go here at sunset.

Hillsong in NYC was seriously food for my soul! I definitely was missing my home church but was super thankful to have a big slice of Australia and Jesus.

In true New Yorker style we indulged in some ridiculously good bagels with a ridiculous amount of cream cheese at Brooklyn Bagel & Coffee Company

Can’t get enough of the murels and fire escapes, particularly in East Village/Alphabet City.
